Stead WEB CAMS

There are two live WEB CAMS at Stead this year. One is inside the hangar used by the T-6 Racers as their "Club House" and the other is looking out of the window of that hangar at the T-6 PIT area with the race course in the background. The images refresh every 40 to 80 seconds.

Here are the Sunday photos from the T-6 flyover. It was a six ship formation to open the last day of the Reno Balloon races. Jim Booth was the formation leader.

Many of the 6's posted qualifing times this morning. They start their second session in a few minutes.

The unlimited did the same. Really looking good this year.

Sorry the "Hangar" WEB CAM was hung up this morning for a couple of hours, somebody turned the power off on the computer driving it during breakfast in the Hangar.

Somebody bumped the Ramp Cam last night so we did not get as much of the area as we wanted. It was moved this morning.

The Ramp CAM is connected to a computer using wireless. Would anybody like it if we added a third cam in one of the T-6 pits or tried to have a roving camera?

I have tried to move it to an unlimited pit but can only reach two of them. There is not enough range in my wireless.

If you at the races and need wireless, stop by the Sky Dancer Hanger - the one with the T6 Racing Association sign on it and I will set you up.

Third cam would be great, they are cool!
I told my brother where they are and got a screen capture of him and his wife standing right front of the camera.
I told them to write me some daily qualifying updates on cardboard and hold them up on the hour...so far nothing

I just updated the SkyDancer WEB site and added three more pages, two of photos. The "Pit" page is for the Pit WEB CAM but at the moment, it is refreshing with the Ramp WEB CAM. As soon as I can get to the airport with another WEB CAM and Wireless laptop, I will bring up that video for ya all !!
