  • Replica FW-190 incident in SC

It looks like the beautiful replica FW-190 that Dave Morss recently flew had a landing gear incident in Camden, SC.

I'm not sure of any details, or who was at the controls, but it appears to be a major setback for a beautiful project.

Suddenly I don't feel so pretty good.

A four-bladed prop? What type of engine is mounted?

Engine ASh-82, prop & cowling are off a Russian TU-2.

Another one of the Flug Werk 190s went down in France a couple of days ago. It lost power during an acro routine and had to be ditched in the water. The pilot is ok, and the aircraft has not yet been recovered.
