        I am not sure..but with all moving elevator and good wing foil MACH 1 can be broken..in a prop plane in a dive...at least.

        TU-95 prop turns at super sonic speed ( at the tips ).

        Thunderscreech actually did brake mach 1 !

          This can only go an ½ hour at 610 mph !? 2 hrs at 455 mph.
