Posts made past 02:30PM 12/30/24 won't be on the new site!
Well, things are going to happen in rapid succession now... I'm going to do a final database backup at 2:30PM CST today. After the vBulletin team gets it - the new site should be operational "with all posts" soon thereafter. Then following a series of checks, and if all goes well, I'll post a link to the new forums here soon.

I'll probably be upping the size allowed on the images to 800x pixels soon.. err.. In fact, I just went in and did it.
Max image width 800 pixels
Maz image file size 140400 bytes
That should accomodate most images.
You should be able to produce an 800x wide image within the 140k size.. with good compression results (not overcompressed)
Try again with the above guidelines in mind.

Okay Here is TS 2 2004
Wayne !
Thanks, I went and reduced the size of my file. Let's try it now.
I did make 1/12 scale model of it and some changes were made after that. First I lowered the elevator.
Wingtips and position of the wing is also different from previous.
Fuel is supposed to be housed mainly in the wings ( on contrary to the Tsunami concept, which had no fuel in the wing ). Will there be enought of it to complete the race. If not, then the fuselage has to be extended and some fuel housed in the space after the engine.

Electric
Juke: Put electric power in your model and get rid of that greasy, noisy motor. Check out http://home.fuse.net/ryan/. See the Rare Bear kit. This is a great building platform. FYI, PeasRutan Long EZ, N-LONG

Ryan site
Peashooter !
Very nice site. I'll pass the link on..prices are moderate too. They are slightly smaller than 1/12 scale I assume.
I am actually going to go for a bigger piston prop engine to see how it flies at actual intented power to weight ratio..somewhere over 1 hp/kilo.
I guess it's like a speeding bullet ( scale speed near mach 3.0 ).
I tested my model can withstand +20 G:s stresses ( I wonder if I can stand the stress to fly it...and land it safely ) .

I did mention where the images are ( sorta advertisement for free ). We did have discussion before and I did take take notice of it.
Should I with draw my last ( previous ) post ?
Would take to long time to draw those planes.
We simply have to be very strict about this rule, it's not only the rule, it's the only right way to do things.
Yes, if you do not have permission to use the illistrations you have posted, please, obtain permission, or, delete the images at once.
Thanks for understanding.

Here again the comparison with a new pic.
Ok Wayne !
This pic is 100 % my drawning ( Bearcat is from my R/C design ).
I don't have a pic of a Mustang, but the P51D is 6 feet longer than the inline design presented here and my racer is also about a foot or two shorter than a Yak-3 and Tsunami.
Bear weight is 8700 lbs and TS II around 5000 lbs ( Tsunami's takeoff weight was way under 6000 lbs ).
I think a small enough Merlin powered racer could eventually beat the Rare Bear in an attempt for the world speed record.
I had an idea of using a large dia 2 blade prop. Well these are all just dreams. Any comments on this short TS 2 ?
