After Jim Wright's Record breaking flight with the Hughes Replica, another Record was broken on that same Friday morning. Rick Schrameck, owner of Race 99 A.S.S, went for the NAA record for the weight class speed record of 320-mph and beat it with an official time of 345-mph, in the Lancair L2K.
