Lead ship (TF-104) taxis out for departure from the ramp at Reno-Stead. A third F-104 will be joining the two ship team shortly. Even with the economy suffering a recent recession, there is quite the future for Classic Jet restorations and two Lockheed F-104/TF-104 Starfighters are proof of that:

A beautiful shot of the TF-104 on climbout, but unfortunately, a camera malfunction prevented the photographer from capturing any images of the second bird, though it flew right by him, with roughly thirty feet of separation, afterburners on. A beautiful sight...one we will all hopefully see for many years to come:
