Well bust my britches "maybe had a foot on the peddle" "kinda cool"

Maybe it was a victory roll after all. If I remember right Mr Yeager would roll a plane "to see how it would feel"

          Melvill, Cool.

heh heh.....His comment about the vehicle being "spin-stabilized" got quite a few laughs...

On a slightly serious note, he DID mentioned that he may have "inadvertently" stepped on a rudder pedal. I wonder if the roll actually helped maintain a vertical attitude? Seems like it would.

They want to sell flights in the future, but now it comes down to forking out $200,000 for a few minutes of weightlessness, or spend a few thou for a much longer "vomit-comet" type of ride at http://www.nogravity.com. Of course, the latter doesn't earn you the claim of astronaut wings.

The Zero Gravity plane was at Reno this year, I want to say it was Friday, they brought it for Breitling guests, I flew in after the race day was over and a bunch of people got on and off it went, didnt stay to see how many sick people there were when it came back

Here's Burts' statement on the rolls:

They may go up again tomorrow and tonight on Discovery is a show about the project.

Here's to a successful flight, guys!

I'm about halfway through the discovery channel program, and it is absolutely fascinating. if the program on the 7th is the same one, definitely do not miss it! Tape it if necessary.

THEY DID IT! It was a great flight and last report I got(had FOX News, CNN and the webcast on!)stated they reached 368,000'! That breaks the X-15 record!

A picture perfect landing followed! Now, it's time for the champaign! CHA-CHING!!!

The webcast is still on: http://www.xprize.org/webcast/webcast.php
