We all lost a good friend and aviator supreme. I had the pleasure of his friendship for 25 + years, both thru air racing and our 180/185 club. He loved the 180 as much as the 51. RIP Robert

This is Mary Converse. I'm just going through Robert's email to see if there is anything I need to attend to. I read the forum posts about Robert, thank you for all the kind words. We are planning a memorial at the Santa Paula Airport on June 22nd; a hangar party after the graveside service there at the family ranch. We are also planning a memorial here in Sequim, WA on June 8th; a church BBQ get together. You can post these events and dates; all are welcome. Also welcome are your memories of Robert. Could you please send out the word that I am looking to gather these stories and have them at the services and to help remember Robert.
