Why was Rare Bear not Shrink Wrapped for it's journey from Reno to Texas?

Who is familiar with the cost and process of Shrink Wrapping an airplane for a truck haul, its cost, pro's and cons etc? I understand wrapping the whole plane might be difficult, like the landing gear, but how about the cowling, leading edges of the wing and tail surfaces, fuselage, canopy...

I'd like to know Rare Bear was not shrink wrapped for its road trip?

Not to sound sarcastic or appear that I am flaming you, but my guess would be is because the owner didn't want to have it "shrink wrapped". By all accounts I have read, it made it there in fine condition.
