Web Site Performance Over Last Two Days?

So... most of my time for the past 72 hours has been spent trying to figure out whether or not the server has been compromised.. Fought off a bunch of DOS and other various runs on the box.. thought I had it licked but over the past 24 - 36 hours.. I can only really comment on 24 of those hours because, my beloved Charter Internet connection went down all day yesterday.. right after I saw signs of trouble on the server. VERY frustrating trying to track something like this with a flaky connection.. is it the connection? Is it the box??

SO.. My question is.. what's your experience with visiting here been the past two days? It's usually VERY snappy, we're almost the only site on a big ol' web server hooked to really big pipes. So, when there's a bit of hiccupup like I've been seeing, it's very disconcerting..

What's your connection to aafo.com been like over the past hours? Good? Steady? Stop.. wait.. go???

I need to know big time!

Thanks lowpass.. I've really got my fingers crossed that we've not been had.. it's really a bitch to get the sot's out if they get into a box.. ya almost always are better off just starting from scratch. Only way to be entirely sure you got them out is to purge all files..

Sure makes me scratch my head that every June, when folks know I'll be tied up in Reno, away from my computer, then again in September.. same story.. I wind up in the fight of my life with hackers..

Know anyone who don't like this site who has skills??

It has become increasingly slow for me. When I click to go from one page to another, it was taking a number of minutes last night. Currently, it seems to take about 30 to 45 seconds to go between pages. Usually it is an instant transfer from one place to the next.

Keep getting a 502 error on the pc but the phone works fine.

Slower for me as well wayne. 10 to 15 seconds to load between pages, and 45 to 60 seconds to load the forums. Has always been an Instant load time for me.

Also I have been unable to load the forums from my pc and my phone from time to time. Usually between 4 pm and 7pm ct, on a strong 4g connection.
