Bob Button has funded this program for a very long time, with little to show for it all. Could 2013 finally be the year?

I hope the Gold teams don't beat too hard on the equipment during qualifying. I think a lot of teams are going to be coming to Stead with just one Race motor this year...

Neal, you going to bring that coffee table book to Reno this year? Would LOVE to see it. Hacker's going to be out at the pylons this year, so I'm sure you two will have plenty to discuss.

I heard that's how all the pros shoot at the pylons.

In fact, I heard Neal Nurmi has his own coffee table book coming out comprised of just cell-phone camera shots at Reno.

LOL.. actually, Neal is the only person I know who does not (as of last check) even OWN a cell phone! I believe he and Bucky are at a dead heat as to who switched to digital first... (meaning, who was the last photographer at Reno to do so)

Don't get too excited about a "coffee table book" for this year. because it ain't gonna happen. Last summer I did a Death Valley book for my Death Valley boss to justify the money the Park is spending on us down there. It took me most of a month to do, and cost a pile of money. I can't justify doing a Reno version right now, as I don't want to invest all that time in what would just be a vanity project.

And, I can't believe that telephones now have cameras in them -- what a dumb idea...
