Posts made past 02:30PM 12/30/24 won't be on the new site!
We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.
From the photo after Matt got her down and back on the ramp, it literally looks like half of the canopy ripped off, metal frame and all. Time will tell...

That has to be one of the weirdest things I've seen in my life... Good luck I guess?
One of the reasons Thom wanted another on PM was the opening that was caused in some of the racers by torque, and I'm sure low pressure, on the airframes.
Did this happen on the first lap? Aside from the immediate concern, how were Strega's speeds? Is this something that can be made overnight assuming the mold is in hand or does it have a long curing process?
