I'm sad to report Dave Jones' son informed me that his dad died around midnight Saturday night. Dave attended the Cleveland races in the 1940s and was at Reno nearly every year. He could be found in the pits photographing the Unlimiteds and measuring them and he completed 500 5-view drawings of most of the Unlimited racers.

where can we get copy's of these drawings? so we can see the hard work he did

I have all of his drawings and for years I have supplied copies to people wanting them. I copy whatever drawings are desired and send the check to Dave because he was living in an "assisted facility". Now I'll just send any sales to his son. If anyone is interested PM me with your email address and I'll send the list.
