Posts made past 02:30PM 12/30/24 won't be on the new site!

Well, things are going to happen in rapid succession now... I'm going to do a final database backup at 2:30PM CST today. After the vBulletin team gets it - the new site should be operational "with all posts" soon thereafter. Then following a series of checks, and if all goes well, I'll post a link to the new forums here soon.

Thanks for your patience,

Does anyone know if the master rods shown in the pictures have been altered from stock in any way?

      Thanks,

      Kevin

Haven't seen the pictures you asked about but I'm pretty certain the folks that have modified those engines aren't going to talk about it here.

I do have some thoughts about the material the master rods are made from. That's it, just thoughts.

I do admire that people. How they manage to assemble that wonderful puzzle.

Without mentioning the people who designed and built it.

All my respects for all of them.

I lost a Tach Gen in Betty Jane on the day of departure. We ended up staying an extra day for the "overnighted" part. On Monday we left Concord and I came back to Reno to fly with a customer that missed his flight the previous Friday. Cool to fly in to Stead with the home pylon up.
