There are several companies in the greater Reno area that rent and deliver trailers. A couple of the campsites around me in the RARA West campground fly in and have a trailer waiting for them. They come with all the camping gear you need in the trailer, all you have to bring is yourself.

If that doesn't work out we always have room for a few more tents in our campsites.

Which is why we need to exchange cell phone numbers! In the summer, I'm in Seaview, maybe a bit less than half the time.. In the winter, a bit more than half the time.. but, I'm never further than Portland.. about two hours away...

Hey GeeBee.. I'm here for ya and I totally appreciate the offer.. I'm still in limbo on what I'm going to do for a place to sleep..

I could do good things for the LASTV gig if I could land a trailer/motorhome for the week.. There are going to be many shot opportunities that could be had if we get this dream going..

I'm still pulling blue sky out of my arse on making this happen... meaning, I don't have the trailer landed, nor do I have the paperwork necessary to park said trailer, should I be so lucky as to obtain it.

Ya don't get to here unless you can think up some impossible scenarios, and then, make them happen...

Actually, that's kind of the story of this website.. it's pretty impossible to think that this thing has been alive since 1997!

That's darn near 20 years...

Funny to think, we were pretty well established in 2000, and now, that seems like ancient history!

Anyway GeeBee... I just don't know what fate has in store for me yet this year on where I get to land my arse after dark..

Not sure why the reply to me? I've got the hotel room.
As for renting decent motorhomes or equivalent: several years ago a friend checked them and they were quite a bit higher than a reasonable hotel room. I think Wayne is wanting to trade the condo to save the cost of rental.

Thanks to the help everyone has given me! I had to bite the bullet and, again, thanks to the help that has been given me, we've managed to nail down both the trailer and a space to put it in..

Woulda been cool if I could have made the trade for the use of the unit for 9 days but hey... maybe next year.. It's a not-lived-in nearly new, fully furnished rental condo (not mine) which I can rent at a discount so I figured I could parlay that into a much cheaper way to get a trailer..

That didn't work but thanks to a paying roomie in the trailer, and a few very generous donations to the AAFO.COM genera fund, I think I'm going to manage without breaking the bank.

I absolutely LOVE staying on the field, you can gather so much information after dark, when I'd normally be heading back to the hotel for a meal and bed, I'll be playing around in the pits until bed time!!
