Must Read: Hangartalk ID "badges"... We Got Them, Do You Want Them?
I started a thread a while ago LINK HERE Critter has agreed to make us up some nametags, to keep it simple, we'll go with the most popular design of what you guys suggested.. Before I dig up the bucks and put in an order for the tags, I want to get a quick feel how you guys would respond.
I don't want to waste Critter's time if no one is interested.
I'll be completely up front, Critter is discounting them to $2.50 per finished unit, before in out shipping costs. I think that at five bucks a pop, we can cover Critter's expenses, ensure shipping costs are covered, maybe make a half a buck or a buck per unit to the site..
Gotta get a quick response outta you guys to see if you want this. I'd sure like to walk up to you guys and know who I was talking to! I know, I wore my Wayne Sagar name tag for so many years, I bet I don't need one of these.. (gonna wear it again just for spite)
Badges would have both your real name, and your hangartalk username, it could just be first, or last name and username, or just username.. I know some of you need privacy because of jobs..
I gotta get a feel going here prior to committing hard site cash for the project.. If shipping costs are small, which I think they would fall undr a forty cent or whatever they are now standard stamp..
Gimme your thoughts, not much time to get this off the ground, not going to be a money maker for the site but would probably be inifinitely cool! I think at the price point Critter and I have hit on, we can make it happen with a bit on the positive side.. would be a cool thing even if a few dollar loss!
swamp this thread with responses quickly if yer interested, I'll make up an order page and we'll get it going.. Don't think we have a minimum but I'd think to make it worth Critter's while, we gotta try for 100.
