Good Hotel Room Deals - Nugget

Good-day fella's.

I've recently booked my room's (4). However I wanted to share some findings..

I found that the Baymont Inn & Suits had really good rates for those who may just want a clean and budget room.
booking.com is selling Baymont rooms for race weekend at around $75.

Also, the Nugget has some killer deals going on. I heard it's under new ownership? Week-day rooms we're like $35, and Fri-Sun rooms weren't bad either.. Might check it out. - www.janugget.com

You are correct. John A. cashed in his chips and sold the Nugget. They turned Trader Dick's into Gilley's. A cowboy bar with saddles for barstools and a mechanical bull.

I hope he enjoys his retirement! Johnny was a class act! Knew and hired my dad for masonry work around his home, bought me a pair of Basque cowboy boots for, probably, my 8th or 10th birthday... I was presented with them in the Nugget coffee shop and told "the owner of the casino wanted you to have these"...

I talked with him year's later and he still remembered!
