Don't think it's the same. Last years race engine was red.

No the engine was not red and haven't had paint on it for 5 years. Mike and Jose decided they could Inspect it better and make it easier to clean and overhaul. That is the Vintage V12 engine looked and and repaired by Rick Shanholtzer. It is not Miss A motor.

I'll chew on that, Wingman. I personally think that the blue of pre-2003 is better. The blue on the original livery was classic, and technically true to the flag.

That, and put the stats back on her. Every time I saw her I read that over and over again.

Given the number of Unlimiteds that are showing up at Reno, is a Super Gold race with or without the obvious manipulation that went on in 1994 possibly a good idea for 2015. Do we really need 6 planes on the course for the gold race with some doing 350mph while the hotrods are doing 475?

The result will be the same (as the last SuperGold Shootout) if one or two have issues. A 3 airplane race suddenly turns into a non-event. It was a big hype that fizzled big time.

It would be a nice airplane to turn into an all out racer. Including all new paint. It's old and boring. I think a waving flag that covers the whole bottom of the wing, that would look cool.
