How does bumping up work?

So PM races/hopefully wins the bronze today. Does Thom race in silver tomorrow then?

Strega races and wins Silver, does he go into the gold tomorrow?

PM wins silver on Friday, does he bump into the gold on Friday or Saturday?

He'll start in last place in the Gold heat on Friday. Same as Jackson did in Strega last year.

Does that mean that either Strega or PM will miss the Gold since only one can win? Forgive me if I have not been paying close enough attention.

I would imagine they would bump up on consecutive days.

Tiger to Gold tomorrow (after he wins today) and PM to Gold on Saturday (after bumping to Silver and then to Gold).

Sound right?

If top 5 qualifiers stand down until tomorrows Gold then it would look like this (Assuming no mechanicals)

Strega wins Silver today bumps to Friday Gold

PM Wins Bronze today and bumps to Friday Silver, Wins Fri Silver and bumps to Sat Gold.

If no Bronze due to number of A/C then PM or Strega win Silver today and bump to Fri Gold.

Other A/C wins Fri Silver bumps to Sat Gold.

Again this is assuming all aircraft are running to full potential.

Mechanicals and cuts could be a big factor if they happen.

If they go top 6 for Gold then Strega is already in Gold.

PM already raced this afternoon, easily winning the bronze. Tiger is scheduled to run this afternoon in the silver.

Just checking.... The only day that you can bump from silver to gold within the same day is Sunday right?
