I live in San Diego, saw it on the local news. We had 2 thunderheads break off and blow over our heads on Tuesday. I witnessed very strong winds and thought it must be a micro-burst. I heard some aircraft had the tiedown chains ripped from the ground.....Charlies plane did not look too bad, but is a shame it happened.

The one and only down side to a class of racing where the airplane doesn't have to way a minimum of 4,000 lbs..
