Posts made past 02:30PM 12/30/24 won't be on the new site!

Well, things are going to happen in rapid succession now... I'm going to do a final database backup at 2:30PM CST today. After the vBulletin team gets it - the new site should be operational "with all posts" soon thereafter. Then following a series of checks, and if all goes well, I'll post a link to the new forums here soon.

    Entirely but VERY cool... didn't know a -47 could do that!

    IIRC, a UAL 747 landed at LAX several years ago with both wing main gears retracted. So it landed on only 2 of the 4 main landing gears.

            Wonder if he was trying to 'Jolt' it out? I thought about that, if I ever had a nose gear stuck, I'd attempt a pretty good bounce on the mains. A bounce like G-load is pretty damn hard to reproduce while in flight.

              So imagine if that had worked. He hits hard, bounces up 6 feet while the right main pops out from the G load, then he settles back down on all four mains! That'd have to go viral!
