I love looking at all the details in these old photos. Looking in the background a lot of dollars worth of blades stacked up. These were the days before OHSA and they would have a field day with this.
No eye protection
No hearing protection
No lifting aid
No protective shielding
No emergency shut off
etc, etc, etc
But considering the time, I bet many of these guys would probably rather have been on the war front vs at home do to medical reasons?
