T-28 Inventory For Sale

Anyone want to single-handily revive the T-28 class? -with some assembly required that is...

A friend and I were talking about this being prime for a T-28 unlimited project, you would definitely be able to silence all the haters - "you cut up a priceless warbird" well I have 40 of them so I thought I might do something different with ONE!

Wow, that's enough to outfit a foreign Air Force...

But I like the T-28 class idea. Wow, love the Trojan. Wish I had the 600k!

I asked my boss if we had that much in our advertising budget, unfortunatley my enthusiasm was not shared, haha!

At $14875 per plane, it almost makes it affordable to buy and build one. Heck depending on the parts, you might almost break even in a restoration job.

So, this begs the question, how much engine can you strap to the front of T28, and how much can you clean one up. Heck, Wildfire started life as a T6. Can you make a T28 run at the front of the Silver class with more engine and lots of cleanup? Small canopy, big engine, different prop (cut down P3 prop?). I wonder if a set of faster wings could be grafted on?

Come on, its only $15K per bird, chump change.

It might come down to wing design.. I really have no idea what the efficiency of the design might be? I would assume it's design is based around lift/weight, and not speed/aerodynamics?

Its a ready-made T-28 factory. It just needs a location to set-up shop.
