stopped by a hanger in redding that had the door ajar. looked in and there was nobody was around, I yelled out several times still nobody was around,there were two cars out front I decided to take a couple pictures. I never went into place I just snapped three shots and decided to haul ass..
could this possibly be the reading the yak everybody's talking about??
I don't know can someone help me out??
I did notice it had a v12 block up front don't know if it's Allison and Merlin ???
Looked like good clean work that's for sure...!

Is that another T-33 tail conversion? Kinda looks like it.

I can confirm that this is the Yak in question. Also, the vertical fin is just a stock one with a 1' extension on top... Similar to Czech Mate but rounded to match the wing tips.

Thanks for the info. I see it now if I zoom in on the picture. Sure wish CM would have went with a rounded fin to better compliment the airplane.

Just wanted to let you know that the project is alive and progressing well! Wind screen designed and installed, skin fabricated and being installed now. 28" spinner has been acquired, backing plates and cowl formers have been fabricated and installed.....
Pictures to follow a later date!
