Heres some shots for today (Tuesday)

There is one unlimited, 3 T6, 28 sport class (as per someones quote) and lots of jets.

The sport class is definitely the future of our air races.

Question, does the sport class share the same tight course restrictions as unlimiteds??

The showlines are the same as the unlimited class (well, for the Sport groups that run the full unlimited course anyway). I am not sure if they share the altitude restrictions.

The Sport course, for non-super sport aircraft, is actually significantly larger than it was pre-2012. So, the course changes, laterally, have been in favor of the Sport class. - Big Time.

Compare speeds of aircraft from 2012-2014, with '11 and previous ..
