It's on Facebook now. I got a text earlier in the week, Skip was in a bad motorcycle wreck earlier this week and has some critical injuries.

Aww Man! I used to roadrace motorcycles and had some very bad accidents. Seen some very bad ones too. It's amaizing what people can pull through. If you're so inclined, Say a good Prayer, send good vibes, good juju, whatever. He's entertained all of us with his skill, honesty, and enthusiasm for avaition. Let's do our part to help pull him through, or at least get well soon!

I saw a picture of him with a smile on his face (wearing and 02 mask) giving a thumbs up. Lots of broken bones and a collapsed lung.

We lost 2 world superbike racers in a race start incident last weekend at laguna seca.... it's tragic but I'm gonna keep riding and living the way I want...

I should have titled thread better. To me a persons name only on a thread is internet code that they are gone. Sorry if that gave you a scare. Hoping Skip gets well soon.

Out for the entire mountain bike season after a nasty fall in late May so I know the feeling. Just like airplanes our toys and hobbies can and will bite back. Take care Skip, and heal up quick.
