By my math Tom and Unleashed picked up nearly 9 mph over last year's qualifying speed. No idea if it was more or less than he had hoped for but to my eye a 3 percent pick up in speed is a pretty stout achievement.

That is an impressive speed for a 4 cylinder engine. How hard is Aberle running his in the Biplane class? VERY impressive speed there, too.
