Status of T-6 that had gear failure ???

Just curious if anyone knows the status of the T-6 that had the gear failure on rollout? Extent of damage and were they able to fly it home? Thanks

Not 100% positive, but I know I heard somebody maybe one of the announcers or maybe someone in the pits say that's it's flyable and they just needed to have some special permit to fly it home (minorly damaged).

It just wasn't allowed to "race" for obvious safety reasons but it sounded like it was flyable.

It flew home on a ferry permit with the gear locked down and the gear doors removed. The damage was minor but more then they wanted to tackle at the field. Should be back to 100% very soon.
