My father had an XJ6 with a Chevy V8 in that color. Ugly, unreliable, and it sounded like a pickup. I never understood why he paid to have the only reliable part of that car, the motor, replaced. After that it was a chronic overheater and blew fan fuses right and left.

Is there something significant about the Jag in the photo? I'm not old enough to have been there.
