Ciuchetton

There was some discussion recently of a Bakersfield Mustang named Ciuchetton. After Steve Hinton crashed and nearly perished in the crash of the Red Baron in 1979 he was in no shape to race at Reno 1980. He was back to flying, however, and a couple of his competitors invited him to take their airplanes out for a spin. Steve was a friend to many of these people and had helped many of them out in many ways, and this was a way of saying "Thanks and we're glad you're still with us".

So here is Steve and Karen's young brother John about to start up Race #86...

And for all the fun we had listening to people try to pronounce "Voodoo Chile", it was years of fun and frustration listening to people mangle the pronunciation of "Ciuchetton".
