so i have a 1/24 p-51d kit and i want to turn it into STREGA so can any body help out with this project? so what i need are pictures that show the engine so i can see what i need to add to the motor in the kit. then i need cockpit photos like if you were siting in the plane i need photos of the left and right side walls the also one of the seat and defiantly of whats behind the seat if there is any thing back there. and dose any body have any vector art for strega so i can make 1/24 scale decals that are up to date ?

Bearclaw, I think you will need to decide on a year to model. Strega has had several distinctly different configurations over the years, two very different basic paint schemes, and an eternally shifting set of crew, engine builder, and sponsor names all over the airplane. She's been racing for over 30 years, with at least 5 pilots. Lots of history means a lot of choices for you to make.

Are you talking about the Airfix Kit? That's the only one I know of in 1/24 scale...that's a good one to modify into a racer because it needs so much work to make parts fit, and things to look right anyway... a little more work won't matter much...Comment
