Monitor is not calibrated. I've used laptop only for probably a decade now and this particular laptop is lightning fast but monitor poor! Angle of view really affects what I see, as does the difference between working at night in darker room versus daylight.
Here, to my eye, is a much overworked version. It looks washed out to me, unless I tip my monitor just so; I've never been good at selective work within an image. If I get one with really good exposure and proper light, I'm lucky because I don't need to do anything with it. LOL!
Obviously, if I get serious about this, I need to get a monitor dedicated just to photo editing.
