I had the opportunity to attend Bob Hover's Celebration of Life on Friday. It was the greatest gathering of aviation legends to have ever assembled together to celebrate the much loved aviation icon. Among some of the speakers were: Clay Lacy, Harrison Ford, Matt Jackson, Bill Fanning, Mike Herman, and Jonna Doolittle (the granddaughter of Jimmy Doolittle).
The flyover included the Thunderbirds, Candain snowbirds and even his beloved P-51 Mustang "Old Yeller".
I will be for ever grateful for my friendship with Bob and will surely miss him in Reno next year.
