Hello!

Long time lurker first time poster. As a race fan and artist I jumped out of my chair when I saw this contest and will definitely be giving it a shot.

I do have a question in regards to references. Is there any go to resources for Aircraft and Pilot references? I want to make sure any clear references are cleared for use by the owner.

Attaching a quick painting (hopefully) of Howard Hughes I did recently to show I'm at least slightly capable of giving this a go!

I usually work from my own photo's unless I am just doing it for myself or practice. I have used other's photo's layout, color and lighting if I have a photo close in view.
I may throw my hat in if I can think of something I like.
