I notice Jay Leno will be at the Nugget in Reno on Nov. 25. Maybe RARA or the" Unlimited" group could talk him into sponsoring them and/or a plane. He does have a Merlin engine on a test stand that he has run in the past so he is aware of things that go fast. Just a thought.

We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.

Re: Jay Leno Sponsorship
While it's typically impossible to speak for somebody else, I have a hard time time disagreeing here. More money than sense, a fitting passion, a museum and TV show to receive any attention given to him. I think somebody who's influential like Jay is could be a big deal if it's handled properly. The money side is one thing, and the promotional end of it could also be huge. he's got lots of fans with lots of passion. Maybe film some sort of episode featuring a racer to really get people's attention? Hell, Jay should buy a racer!

John Travolta, Harrison Ford, Clint Eastwood, Kurt Russell, Morgan Freeman, Tom Cruise, Dr Phil, Dennis Quaid, Jimmy Buffet, Phil, Mickelson, Hillary Swank
I think it's great that Stihl is sponsoring the Air Races, however I've never figured out why other large companies haven't jumped on board such as Coke Cola, Pepsi, Budweiser, etc etc. Just look at Nascar and the unending sponsors it has.
For what it's worth, I also think that RARA needs to get the major jet teams back, Blue Angeles, Thunderbirds, and the Snowbirds, do it on a revolving schedule so a different team is there each year.
Years ago, some of the Casino were sponsors of different races, like Harrahs Club..........what about the other casino?
Just my 2 cents.
