Nice Sunday so took "Marilyn", my Challenger on a 320 mile Sunday drive. Left Reno at 8:30 am and headed south on 395 to Mono Lake, CA, then East to Hawthorne, NV and back to Reno. 6.5 hours, and 25.6 mpg.
Right before Walker, CA, I stopped at the N130NP memorial and took everything in, looked at the mountains, the valley, gave the flag a salute. The terrain these fine men flew into took courage.
They will never be forgotten.
