Reno 2018 - Start them young and they will be lifetime Reno Air Race fans.

My kids started out experiencing the Reno Air Races on the east side hill and west end along the Red Rock fence line, great places to play in the dirt and see fast airplanes.

This year my 18 month old grandson has been to his 2nd Reno Air Race.

Reno means family!! My grandson was 16 months at this year's event, and it's also his second. Every time something would take off he'd climb up into my lap and say "Grampa.............airplane!!" over and over. Melts my heart to think about it.

Yes indeed, they will always have an attachment to things that fly.

Once he gets old it will be lil balsa wood rubber band flyers.

Not that I'm not into kids but somehow that classic shot of the 3 bladed "Rare Bear" got in the back ground. I saw my 1st Air Race in Cleveland at age 7(1939) & still counting.

I had my son out to his first air races at 2weeks old. He is 4 now and has been out every year making it 5 now. My Daughter is 10. She’s been to 11.

Mine started out young. I think he had already been to a couple of races when this was taken, he started at 2... He has been to every one since and now works out there.
