    Pete Zaccagnino's Jet Ride for 2018

    NOT a Vampire this year... After they banned Viper engines in 2011, L-29s couldn't fight against American Spirit and then Fast Company. There hasn't been a competitive L-29 since 2013, and what jet was that? 'Just Lucky' at the hands of Pete Zaccagnino. It ended up winning Gold in 2013, WITHOUT a Viper engine.

    Long story short, Pete is bringing 'Just Lucky' this year

    Interesting. They must have changed the rules again. For the last couple of years you could not bring a jet that has any engine that was not installed by the factory. "Just Lucky" does not have a factory L-29 engine in it....

      Yes, you are allowed to have non-factory engines again, Pete was the only one to take advantage of this I think

          What I got out of it was that Pete was sorta the poker and prodder to getting it changed and when it happened nobody else knew about it... So basically yes
