Searching for a Picture of Woody Edmonson's crash in the Thompson Trophy Race in 1947

Hello, I am in search of any existing pictures of Woodrow "Woody" Edmonson's crash of his A-36 in the Thompson Trophy Race of 1947. It was NX4E, #15 "City of Lynchburg II". Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have searched the archives of the 2 main papers of the time (The Cleveland Press and the Cleveland Plain Dealer) but unfortunately no pictures exist.

If anyone's knows of any further avenues to search as well.

I'll look thru some of my older "Air Classic" magazines I think I saw a picture of the crashed plane. I was there as a teenager with Jimmy Desanto who crashed in the Curtis P60.
