I've heard rumors, that the airplane was donated to Planes of Fame..........any truth this rumor?

All it takes is $$$$. Bob kept the race motors so they would have to come up with a lot of funding to try the record again.

Bob Hannah's web site shows it for sale. I don't know how old the ad is. It has older pictures of the plane.

I spoke with Stevo when he was up here a few weekends ago. From the sounds of it, the sponsor as well as POF want to make another run at the record, but not sure when...
