Thanks so much for posting photos of the Reno Air Races. Wish I could be there to enjoy. Really helps to make up for not being there to enjoy the action.

Sport Race 8 incident was a bit nerve wracking. It sounded terrible coming by home pylon. Pulled up with an obvious issue and on his first orbit I saw the prop come off. He called it out on the radio and went right for 14. Looked like a clean landing but hard to tell from the pits.

The whole incident was rather interesting. I actually saw the propeller leave the airplane. No damage to the airplane and it will fly another day. Things happen very fast, one moment you are flying around the course and the next moment you're sitting talking to crash fire rescue on the taxiway.
