I'm glad you're taking my comments as comments, and not criticism. You have real talent and the willingness to work and to think about what you're doing. That's what it takes to do what you're striving for..
When you can I'd like to see that YAK shot (first in your post)processed a bit lighter and with some shadow detail dialed in. It looks like a great shot with the motion softened clouds in the background and it looks really sharp. I does look quite dark on my monitor but I'd really like to see what's in it. I personally really like to see into shadows -- I spend a lot of time lightening up pilots and cockpits to get things looking how I want them to look.
