Mayday TV Show

Last night a new episode of the Discovery Channel show Mayday was aired and it was about the Galloping Ghost back in 2011.

They interviewed Hoot Gibson, an onsite police women that was in the tower at the time, and one of the box seat victims.

Nothing new information wise but I thought tastefully done and they delicately placed responsibility where it belonged.

It'll always be the worst day in air race history, but they presented it well.

I for one am grateful we know as much info as possible about the incident as we do. There are a lot of disasters with loose ends that will probably never be figured out, at least with the Ghost we have some clarity.
