How about a Corsair class?

After watching this video from Thunder Over Michigan, it made me think of how cool it would be to have a random "stock class" each year. Could be Corsairs, could be 182's (of course we know which would be preferred!).

This was one of the best weekends of my life. Such an awesome sight!!! So happy I committed to making the trip from CA for the gathering, something I’ll remember the rest of my life

I talked to Mike Luther the warbird organizer and he said each Corsair was $5k-10k to get to Willow Run for the weekend. Not a cheap task!

Taking the idea at face value, it would be cool to have a random class each year. Could be fun idea to write a novel around or something (where the *insurance* and irritating things like money (or lack thereof) don't have to exist )

Great idea! Great to see so many F4Us...182 class actually would be entertaining. Wayne, also just completed STIHL Survey, thanks for the link, I know that thread is closed right now.
