Made it!

We got in about 5:30 PM MAJOR smoke up north around Susanville, I hope they get it out, I hope the wind stays in our favor!! I think BeerNazi took a couple shots while we were heading into it.. pretty thick!

Hooking up the motorhome seemed to take forever "glamping" is fun but between fixing chit that goes wrong with the coach and the hours longer travel time to and fro… Lol. I love it but it does make me think!

Besides, we can't leave our kitties behind.. sorry, neither of us had children so we have all those protective loving sappy feelings about our pets as parents do for their kids.

That said, for the same reason we have the motorhome in the first place, for the dang kitties... we have to have, at least, 30 amp hookup or run the generator all day.. I'm ok with that part, maybe someday, we'll convince the BOD that staying out there is more fun than the RV resort park with the pool hot tub, mucho shopping nearby, throw in a couple casinos and the Sparks Marina and "Legends" shopping area as well within a quick walk..

My adventure with the motorhome out at Stead will likely not happen... LOL!!

Am I missing something? Looks good to me, a little cool on Tuesday, but 70s to 85 for the rest of the week. Sunny and mostly sunny skies. Might be a little cool at night, but not bad. Clearly not warm enough for 500+ mph laps, but there is no one who can run a potential 500 mph lap so does it matter?

Out of control fire burning near Susanville, MUCH smoke up that way yesterday, making its way down this way with wind direction change.. See my post here
showing what's happening. It got really windy, direction changed, got COLDER THAN HELL! and the smoke came with it all...
