Hi guys. I've been searching for air racing results (1904-2019) for almost thirty years and I've found nearly all of the ones I'm after. On May 18, 1975 a race event was held at Lincoln, California and I found who was there and most of the info about what aircraft they flew (both Unlimited and bombers) but I don't have any results of the two races that were held. If anyone can supply the results (copies of the NAG publication, result sheets, magazine or newspaper articles, etc) I will send you the volume of air racing results of your choice. Early results(all classes) Vol I 1904-1911, Vol II 1912-1918, Vol III 1919-1925, Vol IV 1926-1928, Vol V 1929, Vol VI 1930-1931, Vol VII 1932-1934, Vol VIII 1935-1943. Unlimited Class results Vol I 1944-1979, Vol II 1980-1995, Vol III 1996-2019.

Re: Air Racing Results
Ever hear of this race?
As the story goes Bob Fowler put his plane in a tree an colfax calif. during his northern attempt. After that effort he went to SoCal and was able to cross the sierra.
This site is created to provide insight into the beginnings of a once close-knit Southern U.S. sawmill town, Century, Florida. The pages draw uniqueness from its journeys into lives and times of those who lived there: people in NW Florida and South Alabama. The Alger-Sullivan Historical Society preserves memories of them.

Re: Air Racing Results
Thanks Bob. Those guys really had guts in the early days. Cal Rodgers didn't win the prize but he is recognized as the first person to fly across the country. I read that he had so many problems that the rudder and one wing strut were the only parts that remained of the aircraft that started the trip. A trip that took 49 days!Gary Williams

Re: Air Racing Results
No response yet to the first search so I'll add another. Same deal except this time you can win two volumes. On August 6-7, 1988 and again on August 11-13, 1989 there were air shows and races at Wendover, Utah. The Unlimited races consisted of demo races. If you can supply any results to either I will send you the volume of your choice for each air show. You can PM me to establish contact.Gary Williams
