Most folks haven’t. However, the ones that do know, they KNOW. There’s two roads in music these days. You can either love your art form or be a star in show biz. The P, affectionately known as the Steely Dan of Hip Hop, is true Hip Hop for people that know the difference. Not that silly assed radio crap. No gold chains, no fancy cars, no silly outfits, no tour buses, no keyboards, no crews. Just two passionate artists creating music for the love of creating music. Starting at the beginning will take you back to 1999. The last album, their final album, was released last year. 20yrs of DIY. The did everything themselves. Write, perform, finance, record, market, merchandise, all of it, just them. There’s lots of great music out there but, IMO, no one else deserves higher praise.
