Posts made past 02:30PM 12/30/24 won't be on the new site!

We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.

      By 1970 the black Mustang would have belonged to Jack Hovey, so I would suspect the aerobatics to be flown by Bob Love.

      However, in Aug. 1970 Hoovers first yellow Mustang had blown up at Oshkosh, so ....maybe Hoover.

        Wasn't the Black P51 "Habu" & more than once Hoover had to fly a different P51 because "Ole Yeller" had problems?

            1971 was when the triangle course replaced the oval course.

              The plane that raced as Ge Ge II/Habu was a different airframe.
