  • Movie to watch while you are quarantined

Check out Disney’s movie called the Kid. There are quite a few airplanes scenes. Can you guess who is flying the biplane? There are a few scenes early in the movie where you can see his body.

Made it a point watch "Battleground" on the 75th anniversary of VE-Day.

Binge watched "Downton Abbey" (yeah...I know...but I had to if I knew what was good for me ). One thing crossed my mind...all those old people walking all over the castle, up and down stairs, etc...and not a faintest hint of flatulence to be found?! Come on...

"Only Angels Have Wings" (1939) is a really good flick.

"Twelve O'Clock High" (1949) is a must of course.

I think a movie called "War Lover" with Steve McQueen. Lots of B17 scenes in it.

A movie that doesn't get much air play: "A Guy Named Joe". Spencer Tracy, Ward Bond, Irene Dunn. I just happened to catch it the other day and was lucky enough to record it so I can watch it anytime. I mean, who wouldn't LOVE a movie with B-25s and P-38s?

The movie on which "Always" was based. "Always" isn' quite the "aviation" movie it could have been but some good scenes.
