    As with so many events, the global pandemic forced the abandonment of the 2020 Reno Air Races, their cancellation announced at the end of June. While any of the myriad cancellations is unfortunate, forgoing the Air Races is arguably among the more meaningful.

    It's pretty cool that the cancellation of the races is enough to merit an article like this. (the glass half full way of looking at it)

    Lots of work to be done on Race #30 over the next year. Speedmodseason is going to be long and hard with the extra year.

            Nice article by Forbes. I had the opportunity to meet Steve Forbes at a Yankee's game a few years back introduced by a mutual friend. If I get to again I'll thank him and pester him to sponsor the unlimited purse!

              This is related so I'll post it here rather than start a new thread, but Fred Telling did an interview on the The Renegade AV8R Radio Show. All in all a very sensible decision making process and it sounds like we will have something to look forward to in September anyways.
